Grapefruit Pompelini-Tini?
Leave a trail of sparkle, make that sprinkles, wherever you go…and believe me, I’ve got sprinkles everywhere ? It’s bubbly, sprinkled with a colorful confetti rim and pink to perfection. Sparkle any party with a Pompelini-Tini ?
I don’t know what we did to deserve this, but Trader Joe’s is killing it with their selection of fun, delicious (and cheap!) booze. Currently, my favorite are the Grapefruit Pompelini and Peach Bellini. I have a feeling they’re seasonal so RUN to the store and get some, a lot, a box, a truck. Did I mention they’re only $6!
Tell them a mermaid sent you ? (This will make your trip even more exciting.)
Today, I’m focusing on the Grapefruit flavor. A little yummy, a little punchy. You can drink the Grapefruit Pompelini chilled, as is, or on ice and it’s perfect. But with all the birthday parties, baby showers and bachelorette parties going on right now, I wanted to flash it up a bit and make it a martini. I also wanted to keep it simple so I could make it quickly and for a big group of friends.
You know how things always say, “just add water?” Well, I’m more of a “just add vodka,” kind of girl ? So, that’s what I did!
Grapefruit Pompelini-Tini
Mix Equal parts Vodka with equal parts Secco Grapefruit Pompelini
Rim with Sprinkles
First, run a small amount of honey around the rim of your favorite martini glass and dip it into multi-colored confetti sprinkles. (You can easily replace the sprinkles with a sugar rim if you prefer.) Then pour your chilled vodka and Pompelini into the glass. Serve and watch your friends sparkle!
This will be your new go-to party pleaser! It’s fancy, flashy and fun. And pick up some peonies for the party while you’re at it. (Arbitrary flower photo…I couldn’t resist!)
Pop some Pompelini today and tell me what you think ?
