Did you catch me this morning on Studio 512 shaking it up with Rosie Newberry? If you missed it, watch the video here! It’s a hoot! We made my latest cocktail concoction that’s sure to be a holiday hit!
Here’s all the delicious details for making your very own Tinsel Tini!
Tinsel Tini
3 Sugared Cranberries + Splash of Simple Syrup
.5 oz Vodka
.5 oz Cointreau
1 oz Pomegranate Juice
1 oz Hibiscus Tea
Garnish with Orange and Sugared Cranberries, Sprinkle with Edible Glitter!
Muddle your cranberries, simple syrup and orange bitters in a shaker. Add ice and the vodka, Cointreau, pomegranate and hibiscus. Shake, shake, shake and double strain into your martini glass. The garnish will wow and the flavor is especially fun. Add a little edible glitter and you’ll be the hit of the party.
This drink is naughty AND nice!
The cranberries are simple! Heat 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup sugar and bring it to a boil. Toss in 1 cup cranberries and let sit off the burner for 2-3 minutes. Let them dry for just a bit on a baking sheet or rack then roll in sugar! I went that extra sparkling step and added edible glitter dust to mine! Check out that shimmer!
Mermaid Magic: Don’t let that cranberry simple syrup go to waste! Use it in your next cocktails and here’s a quick tip. Splash Cranberry Simple Syrup into a rocks glass with 3 dashes Orange Bitters. Add your favorite whiskey and you have an instant Holiday Old Fashioned!
A huge thank you to the team at Studio 512 ? …And thank you for mentioning my debut novel that will be AVAILABLE IN DECEMBER! BOOZY, full of BFFs and BUBBLING with LAUGHTER! Stay tuned!
Splish Splash!
Keep your heels, head and standards high and your home a happy one.
